UCLA Campus | UCLA Health

Welcome Prospective Volunteer!

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at UCLA. We are grateful you have considered this opportunity.

This site is here for the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA volunteers who have been invited by one of our faculty members or employees to join a laboratory or administrative unit within the School of Medicine. If you will be volunteering with patients or accessing the hospital setting or have access to "patient identifiable" data, please return to the main UCLA Health System volunteer web page which can be found at: Volunteer for UCLA Health. Volunteers with patient and/or hospital contact require specific clearances and cannot be processed through the School of Medicine.

If you have your invitation letter and will be volunteering only in a research laboratory or other administrative environment (not involving "patient identifiable" data, patient contact or hospital access), then this site will help to expedite your application and get you processed as quickly as possible. If you want to volunteer in the School of Medicine but have not been invited by a faculty member or other University employee, you must identify a sponsor for your volunteer assignment before proceeding.

UCLA volunteers are amazing individuals who have earned an outstanding reputation for their consistently high level of professionalism. We count on our volunteers to uphold that reputation by maintaining high standards and traditions that distinguish our volunteers by their experience, talents and enthusiasm. Thank you for your interest.
